Neil Everett Wilkin Dec. 6, 1923-April 1923-April 1923-April 15, 2007 A funeral service for Neil Everett Wilkin, 83, of St. Louisville, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, with Frank Austin officiating. officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery. Mr. Wilkin was retired from Jutlew Co., and he was self-em self-em self-em ployed as a farmer. He passed away April 15, 2007, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born Dec. 6, 1923, in St. Louisville, to the late Harry and Edith (Oldaker) Wilkin. Mr. Wilkin was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, where he served as an elder for many years. In 1943, he was the first recipient of the State Farmer Award given at Utica High School. He was a member of the Licking County Farm Bureau, Bureau, Sertoma, where he received received the Service to Mankind Award in 1995, served on the F.B. Council 20, and he was a graduate of Utica High School. Mr. Wilkin served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean conflict. He is survived by his loving wife, Marjory (Farley) Wilkin; three daughters, Carol (Robert) Hoyt, of Chester, Minn., Janet Wilkin, of St. Louisville, and Bonnie (Earl) Moss, of Newark; his daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law, Ann Wilkin, of Utica; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and three nieces and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger Neil Wilkin; and a brother, Lester Wilkin. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
