The car, a 1 975 Lincoln Mark IV, was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene, according to Heath Fire Chief Dick Padar. Owner Denny Van Vlerah of 359 S. 2 1 st St. told officials he smelled smoke as he rounded the corner at about Padar said a gasoline leak may have caused the fire. The car is listed as a total loss.

608. Helen Lawrence, injury. BUCKEYE LAKE Licking County officials say they are moving ahead with plans which should eliminate an odor associated with the Buckeye Lake sewage treatment plant. Several council members renewed complaints at a Sept. 25 meeting when they Said the plant was emitting another odor that night.

County officials have been working on plans to eliminate the smell for several months. A proposed design plan to build three chemical- One hurt in three-car crash feeder facilities should be completed this week, according to County Sanitary Engineer Denise Crews. After the plans are reviewed, the county will submit them to the Fanners Home Administration for approval and funding. Ms. Crews hopes construction on the project can begin by early next spring with chemical feeding systems built in the Bounds Addition, Fairfield Beach and Lieb's Island.

Car taken Charles M. Elswick, 3303 Riley Road N.E., reported to sheriffs deputies that his car, a 1980 Chevrolet Monza, was stolen sometime between Thursday and Monday while it was parked in his driveway. The car is gold colored, and has the license number 849 SWE. The report also stated that Elswick had left the keys in the car, and it was unlocked when it was stolen. The vehicle was valued at $500.

Deaths and Anna Buel Services for Anna Dott" Buel, 90, formerly of Worthington and Croton, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Crbuse-Kauber Funeral Home, Johnstown. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery, Croton. Mrs. Buel died Monday in Rose Gate Care Center, 'Columbus.

She was born May 20, 1899, in Jackson County, W.Va, to the late Charles and Cora (Palmer) Wright. She was a member of the Croton United Methodist Church for many years; and was a retired salesclerk from Lazarus. Her husband, Lloyd Buel, preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters: Dorothy Sullivan of Columbus, and Jo Ann Hughes of Texas; one son, Robert Buel of Florida; one brother, Harvey Wright of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Two- sisters and three brothers are deceased.
