Talking It Over With Jane Jewell DEAR JANE JEWELL: A neighbor constantly parks his car in our back parking space. He has space for two cars himself and when we have guests we like to have them be able to park in our space. Do you think it would be wrong for my husband to tell him we'd rather he didn't park there unless there was a special reason why he needs extra space now and then? MRS. D. DEAR MRS.

It's your space and you should be able to use it. It would be nice to offer it when your neighbors have extra guests and know it in, advance SO they could say: Would it be all right if we used your parking space Thursguests." They should not feel -day night? We're having free to use anything that does not belong to them without asking. Is this the way adults demonstrate respect for authority and the rights of others? J. J. DEAR JANE JEWELL: There is a widower in the neighborhood with two teenagers.

Isn't this the duty of good neighbors when someone doesn't know what a person is like in a case like this? I was a good friend of this man's first wife. NOT TRUSTING. DEAR NOT: Maybe you have a good reason not to trust the divorcee but unless this gal is mistreating or wrong doing you have no right or authority to voice an opinion unless this man asks you for one. It is up to the man himself to use common sense i in making arrangements for his teenage children. You may mean well and have been a friend of his first wife but even this does not give you the right to say anything.
