Deaths And Funerals Anna S. Cline Anna S. Cline, 86, of 74 Mound Court, died Monday in the Granview Nursing Home, where she had been a patient since May, 1965. She had been in failing health for the past two years. Miss Cline was born Jan.

13, 1880, in Martinsburg, daughter of Michael and Lillie A. Willetts Cline. She came to Newark from Mansfield, and resided here for 40 years. She was a retired employe of the Smith Shoe Manufacturing formerly of Newark, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was the last of her Immediate family, and is survived by one cousin, Mrs.

Will Woerlein of Groveport. Two sisters are dead. Friends may call at the Criss Brothers Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday.

Funeral services will be at 1 p. m. Friday with Dr. E. Hoyt Kerr officiating.

Burial will be in Martinsburg Cemetery. Mrs. Flora B. Brossman Mrs. Flora Brossman, 79, a 60-year resident of Pataskala, died Tuesday in the home of Mrs.

Elsie Ginbey of with whom she resided. Mrs. Brossman was born Dec. 15, 1886, at Commercial Point, Ohio, the daughter of Preston E. and Catherine Eversole Peters.

She was a member of the Summit Station Methodist Church and the Wahneta Chapter, OES. She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Tella Fairchield, of Alexandria; a brother, Albert Peters, of Ashville; grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Thurston Funeral Home, Pataskala from 7 to 9 D. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.

m. Friday. Services will be held at 10:30 A. m. Saturday with the Rev.

Carl Herring officiating. Burial will be in Swisher Cemetery, Pataskala. Miss Claire McCann Miss Claire McCann, 80, of Rt. 1. Frazeysburg, was pronounced dead at p.m.

Tuesday at Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, after suffering from an apparent heart attack while driving her automobile in Zanesville. Born Sept. 1, 1885, near Frazeysburg, she was the daughter of Warren and Bethann Whitaker McCann. Miss McCann graduated from Ohio, State University in 1916, and taught in the Cleveland area until 1922, when she returned to Frazeysburg where she joined her mother in operating the farm on which she was born. She was a member of zeysburg Presbyterian Church, its women's organization, Bethany Bible Class, and Frazeysburg Garden Club.

She is survived by her sisters, Miss Adella McCann of the home, and Mrs. Lester Mears, Rt. 1. Newark; and a brother, Carl, of Bloomington, Ind. Two brothers are dead.

Friends may call at the Baughman and Sons Funeral Home in Frazeysburg 7 to p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2:30 p. m.

Verne Davis of Johnstown; two half-sisters, Mrs. Ila Hatch of Rt. 2, Johnstown, and Mrs. Alice Blanchard of Steubenville: Peters Johnstown, En os half Harvey Peters of Centerburg, and Fred Peters of Newark; and 10 grandchildren. Friends may call at Crouse and Son Funeral Home, Johnstown, after 7 p.

Hagberg Services for Joseph I. Hagberg, 88, of 521 Moull be at 10:30 a. 'm. Friday in the Chapel of Criss in Edward C. Brunney Edward Clinton Brunney, 84, Rt.

1, Thornville, died following a long illness at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Barr Nursing Home, Thornville. Born Oct. 9, 1881, near Lancaster, he was a son of Julius and Sarah Muller Brunney.

Mr. Brunney hauled livestock in the Thornville area several years. Surviving are his wife, Goldie Brunney; a son, Neil of Fairfield Beach; a step-son, Raymond Sidwell of Columbus; seven grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Friends may call the Charles R. Boring Funeral Home, Thornville, after 3 p.

AP Editor Dies SEATTLE (AP) Daniel J. Marston, 61, an Associated Press editor for 38 years, died; Wednesday of cancer. Marston started newspaper work on the Springfield (Mass.)
