Stevens, 90, of Toboso, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr Chute Funeral Home, 110 W. Third with the Rev. Dean Cole officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens died Tuesday morning, Dec. 2, 2008, at her home. She was born May 4, 1918, in Hanover Township in Licking County to the late Amos W. and Bertha (Gardner) Lescalleet and was a graduate of Toboso High School.

Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker and a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Larry Stevens, of Newark; and Gregory (Margaret) Stevens, of Wauseon; four grandsons; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert R. Stevens, whom she married Dec.

26, 1939, and who died Aug. 27, 1984; two brothers, Russell and Vernon Lescalleet; and five sisters, Dorothy Lescalleet, Grace Lake, Hazel Stettler, Verna Varner and Geraldine Gutridge. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

2, 2008, at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Newark to the late Louis and Irene Julia (Price) Vargo. Mrs. Tyson was a 1970 graduate of Newark High School.

She worked for State Farm Insurance Co. for 32 years, retiring in 2007, and was the former coowner of Crossroads Pizza. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and shopping. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jeffrey Tyson; sons, Shad Tyson (Tiffany Wright), of Newark, and Corey Tyson (Ashley York), of Heath; a brother, Jim Vargo, of Newark; sister, Pat Daniels, of Dallas, Texas; six nieces; four nephews; many great and greatnephews; mother-in-law, Lib Tyson, of Hebron; sisters-in-law, Deb (David) Hupp, of Jacksontown, and Tari (Kent) Gray, of Somerset; and loving dog, Keely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jim Tyson; and a great-niece, Sara McCormick.

Johnson June 8, 1913-Dec. 2, 2008 A private funeral service will be held for Marjorie E. Johnson, 95, of Newark, with the Rev. John Minihan officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.

Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Convalescent Center. She was born June 8, 1913, in Newark to the late Charles and Mabel (Pierce) Crooks. She was employed as a bookkeeper for King Department Store, Airesman Appliances and Airesman Ignition Companies.

She was a member at First Presbyterian Church for more than 40 years and a 50-year member of Newark Chapter No. 305 Order of the Eastern Star. She also was active in the Newark Council of the Parent Teachers Association and in Mothersingers. She is survived by her son, Dwight (Jane) Johnson, of Nashport; grandsons, Scott (Kim) Johnson, of Nashville, Trent (Shelley) Johnson, of Franklin, and Kirk C. (Merry) Johnson, of Cookeville, six great-grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight A. Johnson; brother, Louis Crooks; sister, Evalyn (Crooks) Klotz; son, Richard P. Johnson; and grandson, Chris C. Johnson. The family suggests contributions to Rock Foundation, 2025 North Granville, OH 43023.

23, 1927, in Newark to the late Clyde and Minnie (Sterman) Buckingham. A kind and gentle woman of faith, she was a faithful Christian, a good listener and a devoted wife and mother. From 1966 until the death of her husband, Lester, in 1991, she was a dedicated pastor's wife assisting him in United Methodist charges in Junction City, Roseville, Sabina, West Liberty and retiring from a charge at Van Wert. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Upper Arlington. Recently, she enjoyed volunteering her time at Good Samaritan Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra J. (Russ) Davis, of Zanesville; her sons, Greg (Brenda) Watts, of Centerville, and David (Pam) Watts, of Anchorage, Alaska; nine grandchildren; five great -grandchildren; three sisters, Helen English and Marian Miller, both of Newark, and Alice Engle, of Lancaster; a special friend and caregiver, Ginny Calendine, of Gaysport; and the family pet, Sirius. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Lester J. Watts; and a son, Jeffrey Watts.
