WBNS Sports Mrs. Irwin Davis presided at the short business session, and Mrs. Russell Williams served ss chairman for the afternoon pro gram. Shadow box arrangements were presented by Miss Minnie Jones and Mrs. A.

Odebrecht. Miss Jones showed color with the use of fall berries, and Mrs. Odebrecht' used minature dolls to form her "Denison Orchestra." Mrs. Frank Jackson, guest speaker from the Broadway Garden Club, gave a demonstration on making corsages from garden flowers. Mrs.

Jackson, who spends the winter in Florida, also showed many interesting corsages which she had made from pine cones, shells, and fish scales. Following the program, tea was served by the hostess, as-j sisted by Mr. E. B. Hawes, Mrs.

Ernest S. Davis, Columbus, was fined $25 and costs for driving without an ooerator's license, and Arthur G. Byrd 18, Hebron, was given a similar fine for speeding. Both men pleaded guilty before Judge Harvey J. Alexander.

Firemen were called to the home of George P. Bishop, 165 4iNorth J1 Street, at 11 a. m. Fri- day where fire was reported to have started in the kitchen. Firemen said that a wiring short had evidently been caused by an overloaded circuit.
