ROUNDUP Wednesday, April 17, 1996 April 21, 1914-April 15, 1996 Graveside services for Paul F. Harble 81, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Newark, are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Newark Memorial Gardens. Mr.

Harble, a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, died April 15, 1996, at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was born April 21, 1914, in Junction City, Ohio, to the late James R.

and Gertrude (Wolfe) Harble. Mr. Harble retired in 1975 from Contour Forming in Newark, where he had been vice president. He was also a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Newark.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret E. (Wolfe) Harble; son, Paul F. Harble of Nashport; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Harble of Fort Myers, Fla. A sister preceded him in death. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday at the Newark Chapel of Henderson, Van Atta Johnston Funeral Service, 59 N. Fifth Newark. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Columbus, Ohio 43214, or the Diabetes Association, 1580 King Columbus, Ohio 43212.

Paul F. Harble Sr. Okey "Bud" Boggs Jr. Jan. 8, 1915-April 15, 1996 Funeral services for Okey "Bud" Boggs 81, of Buckeye Lake, are at 10 a.m.

Thursday at the Emerson-NewkirkWarehime Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Kingwood Memorial Park, Delaware, Ohio. Mr. Boggs, a veteran of World War II, died April 15, 1996, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan.

8, 1915, in Little Hocking, to the late Okey and Lucy Lola Mae (Friend) Boggs Sr. Mr. Boggs retired from North American Aviation in Columbus, and was a member of V.F.W. Post 1388 in Buckeye Lake. His wife, Thelma Helen Boggs, died in 1991.

He is survived by a son, William L. Bandy of Moundsville, W.Va.; two step-sons, Gerald A. Metz and Ronald Metz, both of McMechen, W.Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Howard Trace of Buckeye Lake; two brothers and sister-in-law, Ernest and Nancy Boggs of Zanesville, and Worthy Boggs Sr. of Moundsville, W.Va.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucy Short, Betty and Harold Noble, and Anna and Clarence Johnson, all of Moundsville, W.Va.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Bosswell, 97, of Newark, who died April 15, 1996, Newark Healthcare Center. Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Charles W.

Noble officiating. Mrs. Bosswell, who retired in 1962 from the Y.W.C.A. as a housekeeper, was born Aug. 5, 1898, in Morristown, to the late Robert and Lena (Green) Riley.

Mrs. Bosswell was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Her first husband, Jefferson Good, died Aug. 14, 1931; her second husband, Robert Bosswell, died April 1, 1965. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert P.

Good and James L. and Gladys M. Good, all of Newark; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in' death by a son, Jefferson Good, along with a daughter, brother and sister. The Criss-Kirkpatrick Funeral Chapel, 179 Granville Newark, is in charge of arrangements.

Morris W. Edwards April 29, 1905-April 15, 1996 Funeral services for Morris W. Edwards, 90, of Newark, will take place Friday at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Burial will follow in Holmes Church Cemetery. Mr.

Edwards, who retired as the first manager of Valley Bowling Lanes in Newark, died April 15, 1996, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born April 29, 1905, in Mineral City, Ohio, to the late Reese and Anna (Warren) Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a member of the Local Civil Defense Short Wave Radio Organization and 32nd Degree Mason. His wife of 51 years, Maxine (Shaffer) Edwards, died in 1980.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin and Bonnie Edwards of Canton, Ohio, and Donald and Nancy Edwards of Syracuse, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial will follow in Franklin Hills. Mr. DeVault, a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church, died April. 15, 1996, at his home in Buckeye Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sherman and Mary Lucille (Harrington) DeVault; and his first wife, Ethel DeVault.

He is survived by his second wife, Marge DeVault; two sons, James DeVault Jr. and William DeVault; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ethel and Tony Labora, Norma and Gary Durtschi, Mary and Cloyce Myers and Barbara and Robert Rardain; step son, Steven Wheatley; two stepdaughters and step-son-inlaw, Wendy and Carl Raftery and Cheryl Kennedy; motherin-law, Anna Blizzard; 29 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wesley DeVault, along with three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, a sister and brother. Mrs. Van Winkle, a member of the Lions Club Auxiliary, Newark Garden Club and Heisey Collectors of America, died 1996, at The Inn at Sharon Brooke. She was born July 20, 1902, in Mount Vernon, to the late Denise and Francine Delporte. Her husband, Glenn B. Van Winkle, died April 5, 1974.

She is survived by a son, James Van Winkle of Granville; two grandsons, James G. and Jamie Van Winkle Jr. of Newark, and Brian E. Van Winkle of Granville; and sister, Julie Wolfrom of Portsmouth, Ohio. No calling hours will be observed.
