In the first game, Chet Stillion (3-1) went the distance, logging 3 strikeouts and giving up 2 hits and 4 walks. Tyler Thress lashed 3 singles and Travis De-Vault had 2. In the second game, Jeremy Field (4-4) pitched all 7 innings, recording 5 strikeouts while allowing 4 hits and 3 walks. David Regan went singled 3 times and had 2 RBIs. Stillion singled twice.

Thissen (7-3) struck out 7, and gave up 5 hits and 2 earned runs. Newark Catholic cracked 13 hits off Chami-nade-Julienne (5-8), led by a double and single from both Becca Washburn and Mindi Amomyard. Thissen and Brittani Pickering each clubbed 2 singles for the Green Wave (7-5). Newark Catholic faces Toledo St. Ursula and Parma Heights Holy Name in a doubleheader today.

LICKING VALLEY 15, BEXLEY 2: Katie Felumlee ripped two homers and drove in 4 runs in the Panthers' Buckeye Athletic Conference rout. Stacy Vanover belted a solo homer, while Jessica Bartimus and Shannon Trost each had 3 singles. Lena Messina tripled and doubled. Toni Clossman supplied 2 doubles, a single and 3 RBIs and Amber Dwiggins drove in 3 runs with a double and 2 singles. Ashley Henry added 2 singles.

Erin Willeke (11-4) allowed 1 hit and whiffed 8 before yielding to Natasha Mohler, who gave up 1 hit and 1 walk, fanning 4. Licking Valley (12-5, 7-1) battles Westerville South and then Cincinnati Northwest today in Westerville. NORTHRIDGE 21, EAST KNOX 6 (5 The host Vikings pounded out 13 hits and cruised to a Mid-Buckeye Conference victory.
