The Advocate LOCAL Thursday, November 9, 2000 Deaths and funerals Paul W. Ehlermann Oct. 24, 2000 A funeral service for Paul W. Ehlermann, 61, of Acworth, will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Church, 378 E.

Main St. Mr. Ehlermann, a native of Newark, died Oct. 24, 2000. He moved to Cobb County, in Georgia in 1990, and was resident manager of Victorian Village in Marietta.

He retired from Serepco Electronics in Newark in 1982 after 28 years of service. He was a member of Newark Amateur Radio Club, United Ancient Order of Druids in Newark, and a former member of the Elks Club. He is survived by his wife, Rose (Williams) Ehlermann; three daughters, Lora (Bob) Stevenson of Pickerington, Leasa Ehlermann of Acworth, and Jennie Ehlermann and Gary Dillon of Rockmart, son, Paul (Melinda) Venton Ehlermann of Dallas, grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Bobby, Andrea, Lynzi and Kayla; brother, Joseph Ehlermann of Newark; five sisters, Rose Ogle, Mary (Don) Lusk, Helen (Fred) Teresa (Delbert) Hickman, and Agnes (Jim) O'Reilly, all of Newark; and two sisters-inlaw, Donna Ehlermann and Dot Ehlermann, both of Newark. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gustave Ehlermann and Frederick Ehlermann. Contributions may be made to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, Ga.

30319. Charles "Chuck" Malone May 3, 1940-Nov. 7, 2000 A funeral service for Charles "Chuck" Malone, 60, of Alexandria, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at CrouseKauber Funeral Home with Msgr. Enke officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Malone, who retired from Ohio Packing Co. of Columbus, died Nov.

7, 2000, at his residence. He was born May 3, 1940, in Columbus, to the late John and Mary Tyler Malone. Mr. Malone was recently employed by the Northridge School District and was an avid professional boxing and high school sports fan. He is survived by his sons, Joe (Melissa) Malone of Johnstown, Kevin (Annie) Malone of Johnstown, and Sean (Cheryl) Malone of Johnstown; daughter, Molly (Rob) Brown of Bolivar; grandchildren, Shane, Casey, Logan, and Shannon Malone, and Jarrod and Jason Brown; and sister, Kay (Pat) Fallon of Columbus.

Mary Jane Flowers Kincaid May 13, 1949-Nov. 7, 2000 A memorial service for Mary Jane Flowers Kincaid, 51, of Newark, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fallsburg Baptist Church. Mrs. Kincaid, a homemaker, died Nov.

7, 2000, at her residence. She was born May 13, 1949, in Newark, to Mildred (Moren) Flowers of Newark, and the late George Flowers. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Jim Flowers of Newark, and Fred Flowers of Pennsylvania; and sisters, Linda Flowers of Newark, Shirley Flowers of St. Louisville, and Connie Seevers of Brownsville. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Kincaid in 1990.

Charron Dec. 20, 1933-Nov. 8, 2000 A memorial service for Evariste A. Charron, 66, of Granville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St.

Luke's Episcopal Church in Granville with the Rev. Gwynneth J. Mudd officiating. Mr. Charron, a selfemployed title examiner, died Nov.

8, 2000, at the Arlington Nursing Home in Newark. He was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Pawtucket, R.I., to the late Jean P. and Anna (Szurley) Charron. Mr.

Charron attended the University of Rhode Island and the Ohio State University and was a former employee of the Owens-Corning Science and Technology Center in Granville. Mr. Charron was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Highlands Golf Club in Pataskala, and was a member and Past Exulted Ruler of Newark Elks Lodge 391. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mildred (Erkert) Charron; daughter and sonin-law, Joanne and David Lilien of Winchester, son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Pam Charron of Newark; grandsons, Sydney and Tyler Charron of Newark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Lucille Charron of Greenville, Jean and Kathy Charron of Tacoma, and Theodore Charron of Tacoma, sister, Dorothy Luttrell of Daytona Beach, sisterin-law, Elsie Charron of Tacoma, and brotherin-law, Lowell Erkert of Edgewater Park, N.J.

Marguerite Kettell Nov. 8, 2000 A funeral service for Marguerite Kettell, 80, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville. Mrs.

Kettell, who worked for more than 35 years at Mercy Hospital, died Nov. 8, 2000, at Grant Medical Center. She is survived by her son, Larry Joe Williams; stepdaughters, Mary Jane (John) Shumaker, and Phyllis (Edward) Baker; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe, Michael, Dennis, Patrick, Tim, Bob and Tom; sisters, Jerry and Rose Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. 7, 2000 A funeral service for Anne M. Holtz, 53, of Newark, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Blair officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Holtz, a homemaker and member of the Heath Eagles, died Nov. 7, 2000, at Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born Sept. 1 17, 1947, in Newark, to Wanda (Buck) Peters, and the late George Peters.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Manuel Holtz; sons, Rick Frazier and Rodney Frazier both of Newark, and Ronnie Frazier of Columbus; daughters, Vickie (Russell) Kurtz of Newark, Kim (Chuck) Nickademus of Buckeye Lake, Tammy (Lee) Parker, and Wanda (Bobby) Hutchinson all of Newark; sisters, Diane McDonald, Debbie Ellis, and Penny Coss all of Newark; brothers, Robert Peters of Lucasville, and Bill Peters of Newark; 15 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. Darst officiating. Mr. Westenbarger, who retired as owner of Auto Rebuilders, died Nov. 7, 2000, at Fairfield Medical Center. Mr.

Westenbarger, a U.S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam, was a member of the AMVETS, and Terry Webb VFW Post. He is survived by his wife, Judy L. Westenbarger; sons, Bryan E. Westenbarger, and Ronald Westenbarger and his fiancee Willidean Litton all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cassandra and Jessica Westenbarger; brothers and sister-in-law, Earl Westenbarger of Newark, and John and Katie Westenbarger of Lancaster; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Westenbarger, and Mary (Francis Hedges) Kramer; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Sisco of Lancaster.

of the Martinsburg Christian Church and retired from the Mount Vernon Development Center, died Nov. 7, 2000, at the Morning View Care Center in Danville. She was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Knox County, to the late Earl Jacob and Mary Catherine (Layman) Hawk. She is survived by her son, Clyde Jay Frye of Gambier; and sister, Gertrude Miller of Mount Vernon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Frye in May 2000; daughter, Sharon Kay Frye; sisters, Beatrice Walters, and Mildred Mohr; and brother, John Hawk. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in I Bladensburg. Jesse L.

Cullison Nov. 5, 2000 A funeral service for Jesse L. Cullison, 62, of Dayton, was held Wednesday at the Newcomer-Barclay Funeral Home. Burial was in Centerville Cemetery. Mr.

Cullison, who served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer, Third Class Boatswain's Mate, died Nov. 5, 2000. He was a former Hollywood stunt-man for the television shows, "The Virginian" and "Gunsmoke," and the movie, "The Greatest Story Ever Told." He was also one of the original Ajax White Knights, a former RCA Rodeo Champion in the early 1960's, and was the Head Equestrian for the opening season of "Blue Jacket." Mr. Cullison was a patented inventor of several tools of his trade in the flooring industry.

He was also an Irish Tenor who loved to sing and do Swiss yodeling. He is survived by his wife, Nina Mantia-Cullison; daughters, Angela (Tim) Maloney, Cathy (Scott) Hodges, and Julie (Steve) Storaci; sons, Jesse (Christine) Cullison Rick (Tammy) Cullison, Michael Patrick (Adriene) Cullison, Jim (Michelle) Stoffregen and Stephen Stoffregen; sister, Ellen (Raymon) Klepinger; sisterin-law, Sharon Cullison; brother, Ward Lemont Cullison; aunt, Esta CullisonBorror; dear friends, Grace Hooker and Oda and Henrietta Chartier; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
