Students of the Month Learning Center II are: Brandy Wolfe, daughter of Crime report Damage reported A front door at H.L. Art Jewelers, 20 N. Park Place, was broken this morning. Newark police said a large round object was thrown through the door at 5:27 a.m., several minutes before a "smash and grab" incident at Hammond Electronics in Heath. Three men were seen running north from the area, into an alley east of the store shortly after the incident.

Nothing was reported missing. Antique taken Willard H. Prince, 266 N. Fifth told Newark police someone broke into his home between 3 and 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

A mantel antique clock, listed as priceless, was taken. The clock has four off-white pillars on the front, and no back. A rented VCR, valued at $600, also was taken. Car stolen Someone stole a car Sunday on Elementary Mrs. Ray Wolfe; good daughter of Mr.

1, had the car parked at the rear of her residence. The car is described as a 1977 black Buick Limited. The value of the car was not listed. Items stolen Numerous items were stolen from Culture Cutters, 445 Seroco over the weekend. The items taken included: an answering machine, portable telephone, $45; 12-gauge shotgun, television, $125; stereo, $349; and microwave oven, no value listed.

The report said entry was gained through a west window by prying and breaking a screen and window. VCR stolen Carolyn Holley, 91 E. North told police someone stole a VCR she was renting. The theft occurred between Nov. 23 and Sunday.

The VCR is valued at $776. Caroling, visit from Santa set Sunday at COTC-OSUN The 21st annual Caroling on Campus community celebration is set for Sunday at the Newark Campus of Ohio State University and Central Ohio Technical College. The celebration, part of the campus' annual holiday observance, is free and open to the public. The spokeswoman an at Fatebenefratelli Hospital, who declined to give her name, said Carradine died Sunday. She said he had been hospitalized since Thursday, but she would not disclose the cause of death. She said two of his sons, actors Keith and David, had come to Milan. Tony Renis, an Italian pop singer who said he is a close friend of David Carradine, called The Associated Press from a Milan hotel and said, "David is here with me.

Lottery CLEVELAND (AP) There was one ticket sold naming all six numbers drawn Saturday night in the Ohio Lottery's twice-weekly "Super Lotto" game, the lottery said. The jackpot winner's $9 million prize will be paid in 20 annual installments of $450,000 before taxes. The winning numbers were 1, 10, 16, 23, 25 and 43. The "Kicker" number was 759956.

In the daily game, "'The Number," the winning number was 270. In the "Pick 4" game, the winning number was 1266. Sales in the "Super Lotto" game totaled $5,634,886. Sales in the "Kicker" game totaled $807.728. The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will be $3 million.

There were 168 "Super Lotto" tickets with five of the numbers, and each is worth $1,000. The 7,638 tickets showing four of the numbers are each worth $85. In the "Kicker" game, no players had the exact six-digit number to claim $100,000. The five "Kicker" tickets showing the first five numbers are each worth the 73 with the first four numbers are each worth the 736 with the first three numbers are each worth $100, and the 7,191 with the first two numbers are each worth $10. Earnings were $1,116,249.50 50, from wagering on "The Number." Winners are entitled to share 45 percent of the take, or $113,824. A winning $1 straight bet is worth $3,600.

Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens. Penick died Saturday at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born May 5, 1926, in St. Louisville, to Walter and Clara (Livingston) Penick of Newark. He was a retired Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp.

Jefferson Jefferson, Ohio, with the Rev. George Freeland officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson. Mrs. Overly died Sunday morning in the home of her daughter.

She was born Feb. 17, 1911, in Westford, to the late Raymond and Blanche (Mook) Campbell. She had been a resident of Granville since 1977, moving there from Jefferson. She was member of the First Baptist Church in Jefferson and the First Baptist Church in Newark. Her husband, Florian "Bunt" Overly, died in 1985.

He was known as "Bard of the Boulevard." He made his film debut in 1930 with the talkie remake of Tol'able David. By 1935, he had changed his name to John Carradine, and his glorious voice attracted the attention of John Ford and other directors, making him one of Hollywood's busiest character actors. "I never made big money in Hollywood; I was paid in hundreds, the stars got thousands," he said in a 1986 interview. Mr. Comisford died Sunday morning at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born Sept. 27, 1904, in Hebron, to the late Perry P. and Jessie Helen (Davis) Comisford.

He was retired from Roper Corp. as a stove mounter and was a member of the Stove Mounters Union. Surviving are: his wife, Mildred A. (McKinley) Comisford; one son, William D. Comisford of Newark; 10 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Smith died Sunday evening in Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. He was born Jan. 30, 1904, in Burning Springs, W.Va., to the late Noah and Margarite (Boyce) Smith.
