Marlene McCullough and Robert Deal were married March 24, 1957, at Central Church of Christ on Mount Vernon Road, by the Rev. Otha R.

Clary. They are the parents of Debra (Matthew) Ales, of Forest, Sharon Deal, of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Kimberly Deal, of Occoquan, Va. They also have three grandchildren. Mr. Deal retired from Robert Bosch Corp.

of Charleston, S.C., and formerly was employed by Rockwell, Newark. Mrs. Deal retired from City News Publishing Co. In celebration, the couple and their family had a cruise to the western Caribbean, hosted by their daughters and son-in-law. 50TH ANNIVERSARY Boyd Mr.

and Mrs. Lester Boyd, of Hanover, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 21. Esther Amos and Lester Boyd were married April 21, 1957, at Woodside Presbyterian Church in Newark, by the Rev. Marshall Lowe. They are the parents of Alice (Dennis) Athey, Lois Hall, Patricia (Scott) Wilson, Toni (Walker) Hockman, all of Newark, Pam (Steve) Abraham, of Marengo, Jesse Canoy, of Hanover, and Mark Boyd, deceased.

They have 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Boyd is retired from Bowerston Shale Co. Mrs. Boyd is a homemaker.

Their daughters will have an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. April 21 at Zerger 1 Hall, 745 E. Main Newark. 50TH ANNIVERSARY John Mr. and Mrs.

Johnny John, of Newark, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 21. Yvonne Otterman and Johnny John were married on Easter Sunday, April 21, 1957, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Newark, with the Rev. Thomas P. Simpson officiating. They are the parents of Cindy (Ken) Simons, Dana John, Johnny Allen John, all of Newark, Cheri (Chris) Milner, of Pittsburgh, and Andrea (Andrew) Helms, of Dayton.

They also have 12 grandchildren. Mr. John is retired from Anderson Layman Co. Mrs. John is a homemaker.

In celebration of their anniversary, the couple will renew their wedding vows at the Cherry Valley Lodge, followed by a dinner with their family. They also plan a trip to the Camel: back Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. COUNTY COMMUNITY CALENDAR 25TH Crawmer Mr. and Mrs. Mark S.

Crawmer will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary April 16. Connie E. Stevens and Mark S. Crawmer were married April 16, 1982, by the Rev. Clifford Church at his home in Toboso.

They are the parents of Justin (Brynn Neighbor) Crawmer, of Nashport, and Brandy (Ryan) Dillon, of Fairbanks, Alaska. They also have two grandsons. Mr. Crawmer is employed by Owens Corning. Mrs.

Crawmer is employed by Star Wipers. ENGAGEMENT Crawmer Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Crawmer, of Newark, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 20.

Glenda Lou Ashenhart and Edward E. Crawmer were married April 20, 1957, in Brookville, by the Rev. Richard O. McRae. They are the parents of Cindy (Ron) Iden, of Perrysburg.

They also have one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Mr. Crawmer is retired from Quaker State Oil Refinery in Congo, W.Va. Mrs. Crawmer is retired from City Loan in East Liverpool, Ohio.

A celebration hosted by Cindy and Ron Iden will be April 22 at Toboso United Methodist Church. The couple requests no gifts. 55TH ANNIVERSARY Wilson Mr. and Mrs. John D.

Wilson, of Newark, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary April 13. Goldie M. Randles and John D. Wilson were married April 13, 1952, at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, by Pastor Starlie Brooks and Brother Emoryingmir. They are the parents of Jeff Wilson, of Columbus, Terry Wilson, of St.

Louisville, and Tammy Nickells, Janet Anderson and Paul Wilson, all of Newark. They have 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wilson is a retired pastor. Mrs.

Wilson is retired from Newark High School. A celebration was at the home of Salvyester and Tammy Wallen. 35TH ANNIVERSARY Landram Mr. and Mrs. Victor Landram, of Newark, will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary April 17.

Karen Munyan and Victor Landram were married April 17, 1972, in Newark, by the Rev. Robert E. Linter. They are the parents of Chasity Hart, of Circleville, and Lathe Landram, of Newark. They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. Landram is retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. Mrs. Landram is a homemaker. ENGAGEMENT JohnsonDanna Johnson, of Newark, announces the engagement of her daughter, Danielle Johnson, to Billy Simpson, son of Ray and Beth Harvey, of Newark.

The future bride is a graduate of Newark High School and is employed by Wal-Mart. The future groom is a GED graduate. A May 21 wedding is planned in Newark. WEDDING Cunningham Laura E. Cunningham became the bride of Douglas R.

Giomi on Sept. 30, 2006, at The Athletic Club of Columbus, with the Rev. Darla Hosler officiating. The bride is a daughter of Preston and Pamela Cunningham, of Newark. The groom is a son of Michael and Karen Fauris, of Grove.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Tamara Kristen couture strapless natural ral-waist sheath of pleated silk shantung with a silk-satin sash, trimmed in thyme, cascading the length of the chapel train. The bride also wore a threequarter-length blusher and chapel-length veil of silk illusion with a fine rolled edge.

Matron and maid of honor were Christina Caine and Jennifer Cunningham, sisters of the bride. Best men were Jason Craycraft and Brian Matthews. Reader was Antonio Collura. After the ceremony, cocktails and a formal luncheon reception were in the Lounge of The Athletic Club of Columbus for 130 guests. Premier jazz pianist Erik Augis and his trio provided musical entertainment.

The bride will keep her name. She is an executive assistant with the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. The groom is a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service and a real estate investor. After a honeymoon in Manhattan and a driving tour of the eastern seaboard, the couple reside in Pickerington. Roy T. Binning of Buckeye Lake, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 6. Donna Ann Clendenning and Roy T. Binning Jr. were married April 6, 1957, in Coshocton, by the Rev.

Richard Forsire. They are the parents of Sandy (Clint) Provance, of Newark, Terry Binning, of Coshocton, Linda (Larry) Thompson, of Newark, and Greg Binning, of Pickerington. They also have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Binning is a retired truck driver.
