a a a a a a a a a a a a The Advocate LIFESTYLES Sunday, February 16, 2003: Anniversaries DiBlasio 50th Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. DiBlasio, of Heath, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 28.

Mildred F. Delancey and Carl L. DiBlasio were married on Feb. 28, 1953, at St. Francis de Sales Rectory in Newark, by the Rev.

Cukuras. They are the parents of Linda Padgett, Carla Barrett and Bill DiBlasio, all of Newark, Tina McMannis, of Groveport, and Carol Franks, of Heath. They also have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. DiBlasio retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas.

Mrs. DiBlasio is a homemaker. An open-house celebration will March 1 at the Druids Club, Harrison their children. Patterson 45th and Mrs. Kenneth Patterson, of Newark, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Feb.

15. Rita Geswein and Kenneth Patterson were married on Feb. 15, 1958, at St. Luke's Church in Beavercreek. They are the parents of Dale (Cindy) Patterson, of Cuyahoga Falls, and David (Karen) Patterson, of Westerville.

They also have four granddaughters. Mr. Patterson retired from the Newark Air Force Station. Mrs. Patterson is a homemaker.

The couple took a family Caribbean cruise in December. Morrison 60th Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Morrison will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 21.

Gladys Raley and Denzil Morrison were married on Feb. 21, 1943, by the Rev. H. H. Hoover.

Mr. Morrison retired from ODOT as a mechanical stock clerk. Mrs. Morrison served as a 4- advisor for 25 years. A trip is planned for a later date.

Erwin 56th Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Erwin, of Newark, will celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary on Feb. 17. Ruth Monk and Marvin Erwin 1 were married on Feb.

17, 1947, in Ewington, Ohio, by the Rev. Edward Sorrills. They are the parents of Marvin (Linda) Erwin, of Waynesville, Max Erwin of Newark, Kitty (Steve) Friesner and Robert (Oapie) Erwin, of Findlay. They also have eight grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, and several stepgreat-grandchildren. Mr.

The future bride is a 1991 graduate of Struthers High School and a 1995 and 2001 graduate of the University of Akron, where she received her bachelor's and master's degree.
